GReen Burials

Green Burials are perfect for people who love the freedom and tranquillity of the outdoors, a place to come and reflect on your loved one’s life in the quietness of the countryside. 

Sharpham Meadow is located on the other side of Totnes with stunning views of the River Dart and across the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Here you will find a small ceremonial building where a service can take place prior to the burial. Only simple flat headstones are permitted, and no other memorial items or plantings are allowed, but ashes can be interred here as well giving your loved one a final peaceful resting place.

Conquer Wood is a natural woodland burial site with stunning views across the bay, situated in Cockington Country Park between Torquay and Paignton. Making it an ideal location for families who live in Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Newton Abbot. It offers a more natural and environmentally friendly approach to burials as well as the opportunity to have cremated remains laid to rest here also.
